His Innovation X model curriculum helps institutions develop a sustainable culture of innovation, and is often referred during conference talks and mentoring sessions, particularly at Awecademy where he is currently a mentor.
Through his experience in education and his network, Evo is working with teachers around the world to promote professional development and well-being to reduce burnout, and create a better work life balance through his Teacher Society network.
A global speaker on reform and the importance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Evo has been selected as a key speaker for OGC2020 conference in Traralgon, Australia, which focuses and creating solutions to serve the SDGs. He is also a TEDx speaker, Innovative Teacher of the Year award nominee, and the blogger and vlogger behind ‘The Innovative Teacher’.
Cheryn Ridge is a Microsoft Master Trainer and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. She has travelled with her training team across the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, training teachers to effectively use Minecraft: Education Edition.
She has presented training workshops for teachers in Southern Africa including Botswana, South Africa and Swaziland, equipping teachers to implement technology confidently in their schools.
Cheryn has taught in primary schools for several years. She specialised in the Foundation Phase where she was Grade Head. Natural Science & Technology are her focus areas. She has also coached the Lego Robotics Team taking her team to Nationals in 2016.
