Dr Will Deyamport III
Chris Nesi is certified in social studies and supervision and has inspired students and teachers at the middle, high school, and collegiate levels. Technology and its role in education are his professional passion.
Mr. Nesi is on the cutting edge of education technology trends and he is a creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy educator who is never short on innovative ideas, energy, and the desire to get involved in a school community.
Mr. Nesi has developed and presented professional development workshops to K-12 and collegiate educators about social media, connected learning, technology integration strategies, and podcasting. New technologies are always becoming available and the expansion of an educators’ understanding and use of these innovations for personal and professional use motivate Nesi.
Chris Nesi hosts the House of #EdTech Podcast. House of #EdTech explores how technology is changing the way teachers teach and the impact that technology is having in education. He is also the co-host of the PodcastPD Podcast.
In 2015, he founded the Education Podcast Network as a way to connect with other education podcasters and to provide a place where people could easily access the best in education podcasts.
Dr Will Deyamport III is a District Instructional Technologist for Hattiesburg Public School District, serving grades K-12. He is also a digital transformation strategist, writer, and podcaster. Prior to taking on a full-time instructional technology role, Dr. Will was a social media strategist for a career development company. He is best known for his work in assisting educators in going digital and has helped schools leverage the power of technology to reimagine the learning experiences of their students.
In 2016, Dr. Will was one of three educators selected as a Mississippi Spotlight Speaker at the Mississippi Educator Computing Conference and served as a Schoology Ambassador from 2015 - 2018. Dr. Will speaks and presents often about the effective use of technology in the classroom at conferences throughout the state of Mississippi.
In addition to his speaking, Dr. Will has written for Schoology Exchange, District Administration, EdSurge, iNACOL, and TechEdge magazine. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Radio, TV, and Film and Child and Family Studies from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University.
In March 2019, EduMatch Publishing released Dr. Will's first documentary The Edupreneur.
